LODGING: It has been brought to our attention that there is a State Hockey Tournament being hosted in Hailey the same weekend so we anticipate hotels in the area being pretty busy. We recommend booking lodging soon if you haven’t already.

Anticipated Race Schedule: Event layout wont change but race start times might adjust, we are anticipating a very large field size.
Friday March 1: Distance and SkierX course open for inspection starting at 9am, no trail fee necessary.

Saturday March 2: Morning Skate Interval starts 5km, 3km, 2km, 1km respective distances, 9:30 am start oldest-youngest. Lunch break and skate awards onsite.
Afternoon SkierX Event (skate) awards on Sunday.
Sunday March 3: Morning Classic Mass start, 9:30 am start oldest-youngest onsite awards at race completion.
Seeding for the Sunday classic mass start races will be determined by Saturday distance results

Schutzenski Fall Festival
The 3rd annual fall festival roller ski race weekend at Soldier Hollow. There are events for everyone from youth athletes to US Ski Team and US Biathlon team members. There are two days of biathlon racing and two days of nordic racing on tap.

Sun Valley Supertour and IMD Opener
The SuperTour travels to Sun Valley, Idaho for 3 races on the Lake Creek Trails- a 15km Class Mass Start on Thursday, December 8th, a Classic Sprint on Saturday, December 10th, and a 10km Freestyle Individual Start on Sunday, December 11th. This concludes Period 1 of the SuperTour- The Overall leaders of the SuperTour will be invited to compete in Period 2 of the World Cup (better known as the Tour de Ski!). This race also serves as the Intermountain XC Opener to help prepare athletes for Senior Nationals and the Junior National Qualifiers later in the season. The race website can be found here.
Targhee Tune-Up Freestyle Mass Start Races

Registration is open for the Targhee Tune Up. TVSEF will be hosting the Targhee Tune Up for a second year in a row at Grand Targhee Resort with grooming assistance from Teton Valley Trails and Pathways.

The higher elevations help to guarantee early snow for this race, and it's a great opportunity to get a race under the belt before the season really kicks off. The more the merrier. We'd love to see there!
West Yellowstone Ski Festival
Come to West Yellowstone this Thanksgiving week to get used to skiing on snow again. The festival runs from November 19-27 with biathlon races on the 23rd and an NRL 10/5k skate race on the 26th. You can find more details about the festival here.

On behalf of the U.S. Ski & Snowboard Competition Services Department, I want to invite you to a virtual workshop on Thursday, November 17 from 3:00 to 5:00 pm Mountain Time.
We ask that the organizers participate with at least one member of your Competition Committee and a representative from your timing contractor, and ideally, your Chief of Competition, Chief of Timekeeping, and Race Administrator would all participate.

A full-week camp at Soldier Hollow that runs concurrently with the US Ski Team and US Biathlon Teams fall training camps. The camp concludes with roller ski races on the weekend. Jim Bridger Roller Ski Race
ROLLER SKI RACES: 10 a.m. start Saturday. Test out your speed on wheels during the roller ski races near Glen Lake Rotary Park/Manley Road.

Awards for the top finishers and age group categories. Plus raffle prizes! Timing by Muddy Dog Sports.
